For the past month I have been taking the salinity, the temperature, and the pH of these places I have been in Greece.
Almost every day I've gone to one beach in the Peloponnesian city of Kalamata. I've taken these measurements of the water and documented what kind of sea life lives in the there.
Data: I've discovered that sometimes the water was warmer than the air. The salinity was usually 34 ppt/1.025, but I noticed that the water got less salty as the water got warmer. The pH has also dropped since the first time I took it. It used to be in the 7 range, but now itÍs more in the 6 range. The temperature of the water has stayed mainly around 16 C, but it has been getting warmer since spring is coming.

We have found some interesting creatures. We went looking on some rocks of a dock on the beach and found some hermit crabs, some snails, and a sea urchin. We brought these home and observed them and took pictures.
The sea urchin.
We also went to different places and took water samples. We went to a Venetian medieval castle in Methoni and took a sample there. It was actually the Ionian Sea and not the Mediterranean.

The spring.
Conclusion: I really didn't notice any patterns except that now the atmosphere is getting warmer, the temperature is changing and becoming higher. Also, the pH and salinity have been getting lower, but I'm not sure why.
I hope everybody finds this project interesting, because I had a lot of fun doing it.
